She also leaves one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Deloris Roberts, of Blytheville, and in-laws, Paul and Lanelle Curtis of Blytheville and Dr. Richard Dennis of San Antonio, Texas, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Brenda is a graduate of the Blytheville High School Class of 1969. She spent over 20 years working in education in San Antonio, Texas, and Blytheville. She was a woman of strong faith, and she was a huge asset to the community, as she was always willing to lend a hand. She also enjoyed volunteering at the schools, especially any school Jackson attended. She immediately became the “Town Grandma”, as many of Jackson’s friends and fellow community members referred to her as “Nanny”.

A graveside service was held Tuesday, Jan. 26, at 1:30 p.m. in Blytheville at Elmwood Cemetery with Cobb Funeral Home officiating. A celebration of her life will be held in Edenton at a later date. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the American Heart Association or charity of choice. Following the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, social distancing was maintained and face masks required.
