Mary H. Rapert, 94, of Blytheville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Mary was born in Supply, Ark., to John Duff and Pearlie Fowler. She retired from West Department Store, in which she was the first one to be hired and the last one to leave when the store went out of business. She was an active member of Fairview Baptist Church. Mary liked quilting, sewing, and needleworking. She also enjoyed puzzles, gardening and walking. When her grandchildren were in school, she loved to attend all of their school functions.

She is preceded by her parents; husband, Lehman Rapert; one son, Dennis Rapert; three brothers, Roderick Duff, Harold (Hardy) Duff, and Ryan Duff; four sisters, Bonnie Rapert, Glendal Hollingshad, Nadine Fee and Lucile King.

Mary is survived by her son, Ronnie Rapert of Blytheville; grandchildren, Adam Rapert and Brooke of Jonesboro and Amber Chilton and Daniel of Jonesboro; four great-grandchildren, August and Jude Rapert and Cohen and Cal Chilton; and a very special niece Shelby Roberts of Maynard.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 22, at 10:30 a.m. at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Silvey officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Graveside service will be at Ingram Cemetery in Maynard at 3:00 p.m. Following the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, no more than 50 people will be allowed to gather inside of Cobb Funeral Home and practice social distancing, keeping a 6-foot distance between one another.
