Gary W. Ingle, 63, died Jan. 15, 2021, with his family by his side, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tenn. He was born Aug. 29, 1957, in Lepanto, the son of Bernice D. and Ruby J. Ingle. Gary graduated from Marked Tree High School with the class of 1975. In 1977 Gary married his wife of 43 years, Brenda G. Johnson. In 1978 he graduated from the United Electronics Institute of Technology in Little Rock, with a degree in Applied Science of Electronic Technology. With these skills, along with his strong work ethic, he spent his professional career of 35 years in the Advanced Technologies industry (Aerospace Defense), specifically in F-16 development. Gary was also a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Upon retirement in 2013, Gary and Brenda moved to Tennessee and purchased a beautiful property in the rolling hills of Cumberland Furnace in order to be close to their children and grandchildren. Over the past seven years, Gary spent his time and energy being an amazing dad for his children, and Pepaw for his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Brenda and mother Ruby, Gary is survived by his brother Mardy Ingle; sister Peggy Turpen; daughter Alisha and Chris Rains; son Dustin and Jamie Ingle; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Brandon, Trinity, Madison, Jacie and Dayton.

Private visitation will be Friday, Jan. 22, from 12-1 p.m. at Spann Funeral Home, 1961 Hwy 48 N. Dickson TN 37055, (615)446-1123. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Friday, from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home. Interment will be at the family farm.
