John Wayne "Johnny" Warhurst

John Wayne "Johnny" Warhurst, 69, of Keiser died Jan. 9, 2021, at his home. He was a farm tech for UofA, employed 48 years at the Extension Center in Keiser, of the Baptist faith and 35 plus years he was an umpire and a referee. Mr. Warhurst was born Aug. 29, 1951, in Blytheville to Otto and Katherine Hepler Warhurst, Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Ann Adams and Mildred Russell.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Warhurst of Keiser; one son, Todd Warhurst (Breanna Greene) of Osceola; two daughters, Jennifer (Chris) Harrell of Brookland and Gina Warhurst of Keiser; three brothers, Otto (Linda) Warhurst and Jackie (Vickie) Warhurst of Wilson and Dennis Warhurst of Jonesboro; five sisters, Jean (Bob) Henderson and Janet (Freddie) Hendrix of Osceola, Kaye Letson of South Carolina, Kathy (Floyd) Baugus of Wilson and Willadean Daniels of Jasper, Ala.; nine grandchildren, Chandler Warhurst, Aubree England, Madalynn Harrell, Anna Harrell, Skylar Harrell, Morgan Mullins, Heather Hobbs, Paxton Brown, Payton Motes, and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 11, from 5-7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral will be Tuesday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Rivercrest Gardens in Marie with Bro. Todd Vinson officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
