Dorothy M. King

Dorothy M. King was born June 14, 1960 in Burdette, to the late George Holliman and Mary Holliman. Dorothy departed this life on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville at the age of 60. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Elijah King of Blytheville; three daughters, Christina Ware Anderson, Sonya Simmons, both of Blytheville, and Kyjione King of Bay; five sisters, Addie Holliman Pirtle of Blytheville, Carolyn Holliman of Conway, Inita Jones of Blytheville, Lilly B. Ivory of Chico, Calif., and Berthina Yarbrough of Compton, Calif.; seven brothers, Jimmy Robinson, Bennie Holliman and Greg Johnson Holliman, all of Blytheville, Larry Holliman of Radcliff, Ky., Xavier Holliman of Sacramento, Calif., Elroy Holliman of Tehuti, Ind., and Anthony Holliman of Marion; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and host other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 19, from 11 a.m. until 12:55 p.m., at Bridging The Gap Ministries, in Blytheville. Service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
