Michael “Mike” Dewayne Lueallen

Former Arkansas resident Michael “Mike” Dewayne Lueallen, 44, died Oct. 26, 2020, at his home in Indian Trail, N.C.

Mike was born June 26, 1976, and was raised in Harrisburg. He was an outstanding athlete but was especially accomplished in football. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in education from Arkansas State University and had a long career coaching football at local high schools including Clinton, East Poinsett County, Paragould and Marked Tree. He later obtained his master’s degree in educational leadership from Wingate University in North Carolina.

Mike had lived and worked outside of Charlotte, N.C., for the last 12 years along with his son Vincent Thomas Lueallen (age 13), and his (former) wife Monica (Kirby) Lueallen. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Don Lueallen; brother, Scotty Lueallen, and his loving grandmother, Lavern (Jones) Webb.

He is survived by his mother, Donna (Webb) Deloach of Harrisburg; his brother, Clint Deloach of Jonesboro; his brother, Rick Lueallen of Florida; and his son, Vincent Lueallen of North Carolina.

A memorial service will be held at a later date due to COVID-19.
