Marc Bupp

Marc Bupp, 64, of Monette, passed away Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. He was born Sept. 25, 1956, in Sturgis, Mich., to the late Arthur Bupp and Laverne Baker Bupp. Marc worked at Southworth in Manila for many years. He loved music, he played the drums, guitar, bass and other instruments. The last band he played in was Callendar. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Perrin, and his granny, Bessie Baker.

He is survived by his wife, Terrie Bupp; two sons, Eric Bupp (Heather) of Monette and Aaron Bupp (Ashley) of Lake City; nine grandchildren, Remington Bupp, Chase Bupp, Natasha Bupp, Emma Bibbs, Addison Bupp, Kinsley Bupp, Archer Bupp, Easton Bupp and Alexis Bupp; and two nephews, Jordan Perrin and Nathan Perrin and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette. A celebration of his life will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Gregg Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Parnell officiating. Interment will follow at Monette Memorial Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Eric Bupp, Aaron Bupp, Remington Bupp, Jordan Perrin, Nathan Perrin, Steve Callendar, Alan Callendar and Bryan England, and as honorary pallbearers Horace Pendergrass and Roger Callendar.

All attendees must wear masks and observe social distancing guidelines.
