Norita Ann Crowell

Norita Ann Crowell, 83, of Manila, widow of Bill Crowell, passed from this life Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020, at the NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. Born in the Lost Cane Community, she was the daughter of the late Hershel and Georgia Milligan Davis and was a 1955 graduate of Manila High School. A lifelong area resident, Norita had worked as the office manager for the former Workman's Clinic of Blytheville and in the same capacity for Internal Medicine Associates of Blytheville. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Manila and had served as the church organist for many years. Norita enjoyed gardening, needlepoint, cross-stitching, and spending time with her family at Greers Ferry Lake. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Dean Davis, and her infant twins.

Survivors include two sons, Joey Crowell (Veronica) of Southaven, Miss., and Tony Crowell (Alesha) of Manila; four grandchildren, Ashley, Noah, Harrison, and Sawyer. She also leaves a sister, Martha Jean Wagner of Manila.

Graveside funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, in the Manila Cemetery with Rev. Tony Huffman officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila. Friends may sign the online guest register at www.HowardFuneralService.com.
