Timothy Gene Moerbe

Timothy Gene Moerbe, 59, of Blytheville, passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 2020 at his home.

Tim was born in Blytheville to Elwood and Lou Ellen Gay Moerbe and was an environmental operator at Nucor-Hickman. Tim was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and shooting his guns. He was an enthusiast of refurbishing four wheelers and motorcycles. Tim was a family man and loved to spend time and play with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter Sophie’s mother Amy Moerbe.

Tim leaves three children, Josh Moerbe and his wife April, Meagan Moerbe and Sophie Moerbe, all of Blytheville; two grandchildren, Cruz and Cate Moerbe; one brother; and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 12, at 2:30 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Trey Shearin officiating. Entombment will follow in Dogwood Mausoleum. The family received friends from 1 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. Following the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, no more than 100 people will be allowed to gather inside of Cobb Funeral Home and practice social distancing, keeping a 6-foot distance between one another. Face masks are required to enter the building and to be worn at all times.
