Billy Davis

Billy Davis of Trumann departed this life Saturday Oct. 31, 2020, at the family residence at the age of 66 years, 6 months and 21 days. He was born Saturday, April 10, 1954, in Trumann. Billy was a retired fork lift driver for Roach Manufacturing, of the Baptist faith, devoted for better or worse Razorback fan (Woo Pig Sooie!!), an avid animal lover and a 1972 graduate of Trumann High School. He was the son of the late Adron and Ada Holmes Davis and was also preceded in death by one sister, two brothers and fiance Marlen Richardson.

Billy is survived by one son, Preston Davis of St. Gabriel, La.; two daughters, Jaclyn Horner of Jonesboro and Candice Richardson of Trumann; three grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Davis of Trumann and Tommy (Linda) Davis of Lunsford; and special friend, Mike Roach, Jr.

A memorial service was Nov. 2 at Thompson Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Loggins officiating. Burial was private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the NEA Humane Society. In compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing and face masks were required along with signing of a COVID-19 form.
