Lewis Benard Preston

Lewis Benard Preston of Blytheville was born June 4, 1980, in Aurora, Ill., to Lewis McKenzly and the late Etta Miller McKenzly. He worked at the steel mill and was a member of Greater Jeremiah Temple. Mr. Preston passed away Oct. 10, 2020, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville at the age of 40. He was preceded in death by his mother, Etta Miller McKenzly; one daughter Annayia Preston; and his special cousin, Terrance Holloway.

He is survived by his father, Lewis McKenzly of Chicago, Ill.; his fiancee, Christina Whitfield of Blytheville; two daughters, Zakyia Whitfield and Lakyia Preston, both of Blytheville; three brothers, Jessie Preston and Nathan Preston, both of Blytheville, and Tyrone Preston of Atlanta, Ga.; and two sisters, Lisa Preston and Vickie Preston, both of Blytheville.

The visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, with the funeral immediately following at 2 p.m., Bro. Jerry Martin officiating. The burial will be held at Carney Cemetery in Blytheville. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
