Sam Singleton, 72, of Conway, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, with his loving family by his side. He was born Jan. 6, 1948, in Burdette, to the late Charles Thomas and Lora Clark Singleton. Sam was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Samuel Morris and Frankie Singleton and J.W. and Anna Lee Clark.

Sam is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Anita Singleton; two daughters, Kimberly Singleton-Parnell and Kristi Cowger (Bill); three grandchildren, Chelsey Phillips, Michael Joe Parnell II, and Audrey Gail Cowger; two great-grandchildren, Samuel Elijah Leach and Michael Hoyt Phillips; brothers, Charles Singleton, Jr. and John Singleton (Robin); two sisters, Trish Cole and Deanna Payne (Bobby), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sam was a long-time member of Cole Ridge Baptist Church in Blytheville and a veteran of the United States Army. He was retired and enjoyed golf and yard work. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sam will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, with family present from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. with funeral service following. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Conway.

Roller Funeral Homes are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funerals and visitations to 100 people at one time. All attendees will provide and wear their own masks before entering our funeral homes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
