Tsutayo June Sato Mills

Tsutayo June Sato Mills of Trumann departed this life Monday, Sept. 21, 2020, at St. Elizabeth’s Place in Jonesboro at the age of 94 years and 7 months. She was born Sunday, Feb. 21, 1926, in Fukuoka, Japan, and lived most of her life in Trumann. She was a homemaker and a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Mills.

She is survived by one daughter, Carol (Larry) Webster of Marion.

A Celebration of Life was Sept. 24 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Duffel officiating. Burial was private. In compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing was required along with face masks and the signing of a COVID-19 form.
