Diana Sue "Susie" Williams

Diana Sue "Susie" Williams, 47, of Cardwell, Mo., passed from this life Monday, Sept. 21, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Kennett, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry Williams and had been a lifelong resident of Cardwell. She was a home healthcare provider with B.A.I.L.S. of Kennett and had worked in the cafeteria at the Southland School District, as well as for the Cardwell Post Office. She was a 1991 graduate of Southland High School in Cardwell and had attended the University of Missouri at Columbia and Arkansas State University in Jonesboro were she earned a degree in Forestry and Wildlife Conservation. Susie was dedicated to her family and attended Calvary Full Gospel Church in Cardwell. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Henry David Williams, and her maternal grandparents, Russell and Virginia McCarty.

She is survived by her mother, Linda McCarty Williams; her sister, Stacy Williams, both of Cardwell. She also leaves her paternal grandmother, Jean Wolff of Cypress, Calif.

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Cardwell Cemetery with Reverend Danny Hall officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville. The family will receive visitors from 12:30 until 1:30 at the funeral home. In compliance with the state's directive regarding COVID-19, face masks will be required inside the funeral home and social distancing will be practiced at all times.
