Anthony Elroy McLaurin, Jr.

Anthony Elroy McLaurin, Jr. "Handy", 39, of Osceola died Aug. 16, 2020, at his home. He was employed by Kagome in Osceola. Mr. McLaurin was born Aug. 15, 1981 in Osceola to Anthony McLaurin, Sr. and Brenda Jones. He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony McLaurin, Sr.; his stepfather, Torrence Lane, Sr.; his wife, Darian Talley; one daughter, Shantaesha Denise McLaurin; one brother, Aaron Lane; and one sister, Mary Alice Lane.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda Lane of Osceola; seven sons, Jasean Jackson, Anthony McLaurin III, Stephon McLaurin, Cameron McLaurin, Timothy Crowley, Carter Crowley, of Osceola, Emmanuel Johnson of Peoria, Ill.; one daughter, Kacey McLaurin of Osceola; four brothers, Andrew McLaurin, Lemmie McLaurin and Clint Lane of Osceola, and Torrence Lane, Jr. of Nashville, Tenn.; four sisters, Angela Brown, Sharocker Peoples and LaToya Brown of Osceola, Shasta Lane of Turrell; five grandchildren and one special niece, Jarenshi Williams.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at New Generation in Osceola. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at New Generation in Osceola. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Evadale with Pastor Jessie Jones officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
