Monday, August 24, 2020

Mr. Robert Stephen “Steve” Littrell, 70, of Blytheville, passed from this life on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Born to Robert “Bob” and Virginia Gayle Wallace Littrell in Jackson, Tenn., he was an auto salesman at Cannon Ford and former owner/operator of Littrell Ford Sales in Blytheville. Steve was a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Blytheville Kiwanis Club. Steve was an active participant in civic organizations and his ability to relate to people and develop friendships came very easy for Steve because of his love for people. Steve also was an avid golfer. He loved to play especially with his grandson Robert. Steve was taught at an early age that his “word was his bond” and that type of attitude helped to make him very successful in running his car dealerships. This love carried over to a greater extent for his family. He loved to spend as much time as possible with his family and between his work hours and civic involvement, every moment with family became precious to Steve and he spent it wisely as possible.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Douglas Henson of Little Rock.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Janice “Jan” Henson Littrell of the home; daughter, Jennifer Johnson (John) of Blytheville; grandson, Robert Hopper of Blytheville; granddaughter, Mary Ellen Johnson of Jonesboro; brother, Jeff Littrell (Pamela) of Cabot; brother-in-law, Paul Henson of Jacksonville; nephew, Jonathan Littrell of Cabot; and niece, Lauren Henson Foster of Dallas, Texas.
