Leandra "Sonny" Buchanan, Jr.

Leandra "Sonny" Buchanan, Jr., 75, of Lepanto died Aug. 8, 2020 at his home. He was a retired Ritter truck driver after 30 years and a 58 year resident of Lepanto. Mr. Buchanan was born March 7, 1945 in Lepanto to Leandra Buchanan and Emma Lee Barnes.

He is survived by his wife, Alice M. Buchanan of Lepanto; one son Allen Buchanan of Marked Tree; two daughters Gizelle Buchanan of Lepanto and Angela Crosby of Chicago, Ill.; two brothers Freddie Buchanan and Dwayne Buchanan of Kalamazoo, Mich.; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Aug. 15 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial followed at Pine Rest Cemetery in Lepanto with Randy Crockett officiating.

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola was in charge of arrangements.
