Willie Mae Holloway “Danky” of Blytheville was born Sept. 1, 1935, in Wilson to the late Tommy Henderson, Sr. and the late Louise Miller Robinson. She was a cook for St. Joseph Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., and a member of True Foundation Church of Jesus Christ in Yarbro. Mrs. Holloway passed away on Aug. 6, 2020, at Heritage Square Nursing Center in Blytheville at the age of 84. She is preceded in death by her father, Tommy Henderson, Sr.; her mother, Louise Miller Robinson, and her stepfather who raised her, Horace Robinson, Sr.; husband, Oscar Holloway, Sr.; two sons, Maurice Holloway and Michael Holloway; one daughter, Carolyn Thomas; five brothers, Tommy Henderson, Jr., Richard Henderson, Sammie Henderson, Arthur Henderson and Horace Robinson, Jr.; three sisters, Lou’ester Carter, Uvione Williams and Marsha Johnson; and four grandchildren, James Walker, Robert Thomas, Jr., Oscar Graham and Lucretia Walker.

She is survived by four sons, Tony Howard (Debra) of Blytheville, Jerry Martin, Sr. (Carlean) of Steele, Mo., Oscar Holloway, Jr. (Mary Ann) of St. Louis, Mo., and Roy Lee Holloway of Blytheville; three daughters, Ernestine Kelly, Betty Howard and Masie Holloway, all of Blytheville; 25 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville with the funeral immediately following at 2 p.m., Pastor Jerry Martin, Sr. officiating. The burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home, Blytheville.
