Rachel “Doe” Poulson

Rachel “Doe” Poulson of Bay departed this life Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 5 days. She was born Monday, Dec. 11, 1939, in Carthage, Mo., and lived in the Bay area for several years and was formerly of Ceres, Calif. Ms. Poulson was retired from the Trumann Walmart and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Poulson; one sister, Lorene Hair; and her parents, Loren Edward and Roszetti Campbell Poulson.

She is survived by four sisters, Judy Boyd of Bay, Trudy Poulson of Ceres, Calif., Ilene Hair of Ceres, Calif. and Georgina Miller of Turlock, Calif.; one brother, Dick (Jackie) Poulson of Ceres, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life was July 20 with Reverend Rick Jensen officiating. Burial followed in Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland with Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann in charge of arrangements. Because of COVID-19 regulations, social distancing was followed.
