Gussie Lee Brooks

Gussie Lee Brooks, 69, of Earle died June 30, 2020, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. She was a retired school bus driver and a member of Galilee MB Church in Crawfordsville. Mrs. Brooks was born Jan. 9, 1951, in Jeanette to Gus and Addie B. Nance Pierce, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, three sisters, Rosie Lee Holmes, Ethel White and Addie B. Rucks.

She is survived by her husband, Johnes Brooks, Jr. of Earle; one son, Kevin Brooks of West Memphis; two daughters, Latasha Coppage (Michael) of Earle and Ashley Brooks of West Memphis; five sisters, Daisy Mae Parker of Buffalo, NY, Annie Mae Harris of Blytheville, Naomi Foster and Mildred Senter of Earle and Chestine Foster of Memphis, Tenn.; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 11, from 12:00-2:00 with the funeral at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. Burial will be at Russell Cemetery in Earle, with Rev. Edward Graham officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza is in charge.
