Tommy Franklin Stracener, Jr., 46, of Marion departed this life Thursday, July 2, 2020. He was born July 21, 1973, to Tommy Franklin Stracener, Sr. and Martha Jo Hauptman Stracener. Tommy was a Christian and was known as “The Preacher.” He led several people to the Lord. He loved music and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grover and Jean Stracener, Howard and Suda Reeves, Eddie and Kitty Hauptman and Eloise Hauptman.

Tommy is survived by his mother, Martha Jo Stracener of Marion; Father, Tommy Stracener (Robin) of Bentonville; step-parents, Martin and Sue Steed of Monette; two brothers, Michael Stracener (Ginger) of Horseshoe Bend and George “Arkie” Duncan of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one sister, Billie Joe Duncan of Osceola; and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto. Arrangements are under the care of Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home/Lepanto.
