Celebrate Juneteenth offers free COVID tests; Hodges to host peace rally on Friday

Celebrate Juneteenth will have free drive-thru COVID-19 testing from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., Friday at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 809 East Main Street, Blytheville. Testing is available to anyone with or without symptoms and no physician referral is needed. Patients will be contacted when test results are available, which is generally two to five business days.

Also, at 6 Friday night, Rep. Monte Hodges (D-Blytheville) will host a “commUNITY Peace Rally” at MR&J Plaza, 537 N. 10th Street, Blytheville.

The rally is promoting justice, equality, and unity.

Participants are asked to be mindful of social distancing guidelines.
