Peggy Jean Bratcher Tirey

Peggy Jean Bratcher Tirey, 90, passed away Jan. 3, 2020, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born Sept. 19, 1929 in Blytheville, the first child of James Edward and Geraldine Sigers Bratcher. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Norman Ray Bratcher, and her husband, J. F. Cliff Tirey.

She is survived by a sister, Nancy Ruth Bratcher of McKinney, Texas; two brothers, James Wayne Bratcher (Dorothy) of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Danny Joe Bratcher (Julia) of McKinney, Texas; sister-in-law, Edna Presnell Bratcher of Wichita Falls, Texas; eight nieces and nephews; one great-niece; four great-nephews, and numerous devoted and loyal friends.

Her ashes were interred at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, Corpus Christi, Texas, on Jan. 27, 2020.
