Robert L. Harris

Robert L. Harris was born Oct. 18, 1984, in South Bend, Ind., to Robert Lee Williams and Elizabeth Harris. Robert was of the Baptist faith, joining True Light Missionary Baptist under the pastorage and leadership of Reverend Jay Slaughter. He was a 2003 graduate of Blytheville High School and attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Robert was a former employee of Nucor Steel.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Antonio Junearick. He transitioned on Monday, May 25, 2020, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., at the age of 35.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories three sons, Braylon Harris of Conway, Keithan Carter and Raithan Carter both of Blytheville; one daughter, Ra’Reunna Harris also of Blytheville; seven brothers, Raymond (Diane) Junarick of Blytheville, Chevelle Harris of Little Rock, LaShawn (Dawn) Harris of Blytheville, Robert (Sherry) Williams, Jr., of Blytheville, Tyrone Williams of Blytheville, Michael Williams of Blytheville and Patrick (Evette) Williams, also of Blytheville; three sisters, Sebrena Harris of Blytheville, Chaunscie Harris of Little Rock and Sharon Thomas, also of Blytheville; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates and friends.

A walk-through visitation will be held Friday, May 29, beginning at 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McDonald-Horne Funeral Home, 1207 South Division Street, Blytheville.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 30, at 1:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Gardens Cemetery. Reverend Jay Slaughter will deliver the eulogy with burial to immediately follow.

In accordance with the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, no more than 50 people will be allowed to gather inside of McDonald-Horne Funeral Home at one time. The practice social distancing of 6-feet will be observed. Face masks are required to be worn by all family and friends attending the visitation and graveside services.

McDonald-Horne Funeral Home is in charge of all services and arrangements.
