Mary Ann Crawford Farley

Tuesday, April 28, 2020

Mary Ann Crawford Farley, 87, peacefully passed to the next life Sunday, April 26, 2020. Ann was born in 1933 in Joiner to her beloved parents, Mr. and Mrs. Omer Crawford (Ora) formerly of Steele, Mo. Many of her happiest days were spent with her family - her parents, brothers and sisters, Joe, Vivian, Billy, Bobbie, and Joe Max - and the silver lining of the dementia she suffered in recent years was much time spent revisiting cherished people and places.

A lifelong resident of the area, Ann graduated from Holland High School in 1952 and enjoyed careers at Chickasawba Hospital, then running her own business, Farley’s clothing store in Blytheville.

She counted among her blessings her daughter Holly Farley Pate of Germantown, Tenn.; grandson Landon Pate of Nashville, Tenn.; dear friends, nieces and nephews; her church community at Samford Church of Christ; and the loving staff at Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett.

A cheerful spirit who loved to laugh, a few of her favorite things included children, the outdoors, homemade ice cream, '50s crooners, Charlie Brown, quilting, Rook and Russell Stover’s chocolates.

A private memorial will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, www.imaginationlibrary.com.

Online condolences may be made at www.mcdanielfuneralservice.com.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett in charge of the arrangements.
