Luster Fowler, Sr. of Blytheville was born July 23, 1950 in Blytheville to the late Earnest Fowler, Sr. and the late Addie Jenkins Fowler. He was a farm worker and a member of Morning Star M.B. Church in Blytheville. Mr. Fowler passed away on April 16, 2020, at his home in Blytheville at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Fowler Sr.; his mother, Addie Jenkins Fowler; one brother, Earnest Fowler, Jr.; and two sisters, Shirley Andrews and Pearlie Fowler.

He is survived by his wife, Rosella Whitfield Fowler; five sons, Kevin Whitfield, Tally Whitfield, Luster, Fowler, JR., Fredrick Fowler and Timothy Fowler, all of Blytheville; two daughters, Jessica Fowler and Brenda Smith, both of Blytheville; five brothers, Quincy Fowler , Larry Fowler, Grady Fowler and Brady Fowler, all of Blytheville, and Michael Fowler of Indianapolis, Ind.; four sisters, Jo Ann Fowler of Blytheville, Shirley Day of Midwest City, Okla., and Judy Thomas and Sybil Chew, both of Blytheville; 18 grandchildren , nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 25, at Gethsemane Memorial Cemetery in Blytheville with Pastor Don Jenkins officiating. In compliance with the CDC, the Governor and the Arkansas Funeral Director Association, due to the COVID-19 virus, all public gathering of more than 10 people held indoors are prohibited.
