Bill Haney

Bill Haney, 79, of Hot Springs and formerly of Blytheville, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020, at his home.

Bill was born in Blytheville to P.T. and Demetra (Dee) Haney. Bill was a renowned entertainer, known for doing his Elvis impersonation along with Jerry Lee Lewis style piano. He played rock and roll shows from coast to coast, including a show in Las Vegas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bill is survived by his wife of 59 years, Glenda Gail (Slaughter) Haney of the home; daughters, Cami Lee Mills and her husband Bubba of Memphis, Tenn., and Laurie Haney of Hot Springs; brothers, Buddy Haney of Hot Springs and Mike Haney of West Memphis; granddaughters, Morgan Mills of Memphis, Tenn., and Britten Robinson of San Francisco, Calif.; sisters-in-law, Janet Slaughter Haney and Kimberly Skellenger, both of Hot Springs; nephews, Eldon S. Haney of Hot Springs and Dalton Skellenger of Hot Springs; and niece, Candy Haney May of Hot Springs.

Funeral services will be private. There will be a memorial service at a later date and will be announced.
