Roger D. Hale, 76, of Steele, Mo., passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020, at his home.

Roger was born in Jackson, Tenn., to Bonnie and Zola Connor Hale. He was retired from Borg Warner and was a member of Tyler Church of God. Roger was an avid vegetable gardener, growing a bountiful garden every year. He loved to cook and loved his pets. Roger was a family man and loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Denny Hale and Hillard Hale; and three sisters, Inetha Walker, Marie Hicks and Bonnie Louise Culp.

Roger leaves his wife, Delphine Willm Hale of the home; two children, Briah Hale of Kennett, Mo., and Rusty Bohannan of Steele; five brothers, Jerry Hale of Manila, Lillard Hale of Osceola, Edward Hale of Auburndale, Fla., Bobby Joe Hale of Caruthersville, Mo., and Billy Hale of Blytheville; two sisters, Willia Bond of Blytheville and Brenda Armstrong of Tyronza; and one granddaughter, Haven Bohannan.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 18, at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Lacer officiating. Burial will be private.
