Mother Josephine Coleman, 98, formerly of Blytheville, passed away Monday, Feb. 24, 2020, at Ascension-Genesys Hospital, Flint, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Coleman, Sr.; sons, Richard Coleman and Joseph Coleman; and daughters, Rosetta Rumph, Willie Mae Jackson and Deborah Coleman.

She leaves seven daughters, Ethel (James) Robinson of Moundsville, Ala., Dorothy Dorsett, Velma Mizell, Bonita Tellis and Terri (Don) Lewis, all of Flint, Mich., Sandra (Cecil) Matchell and Brenda (Ryan) McClain, both of Blytheville; four sons, Eddie (Helen) Coleman and Clyde Coleman, both of Flint, Mich., Willie (Valarie) Coleman, Jr. of Blytheville and Ronald (Beverly) Coleman of Greensboro, N.C.

Family hour will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, at United Outreach Ministries, 1249 Roosevelt, Ave., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Pastor Lamarcus Keels will officiate. Interment will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Road.

Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Mother Coleman will lie in state in the chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 West Flint Park Boulevard, and may be viewed from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 2.
