Janet Stewart Yarbro

Janet Stewart Yarbro, 90, of Milan, Tenn., formerly of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, at her home.

Janet was born in Blytheville to Virgil and Gladys Long Stewart. She was a homemaker and loved to travel. She enjoyed playing music. She sang and played the bass fiddle with the Stewart Family and also Pappy Stewart and the Arkansas Cowgirls in the mid 1940s to the mind 1950s.

She was preceded in death by her husband, E.C. Yarbro; her parents; and sister, Bethyl Brown.

Janet leaves three children, Lynn Hardin and her husband Mike of Milan, Tenn., Garry Yarbro and his wife Paula of Nolensville, Tenn., and Larry Yarbro and his wife Cheryl of Milan, Tenn.; one brother, Dale Stewart and his wife Gail of Blytheville; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 29, at 1 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Jacob Yarbro officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery.
