Loudeen Cude Nolen

Loudeen Cude Nolen, 98, of Walnut Ridge, former longtime Leachville resident, passed from this life Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge. Born in Blytheville to the late Boyd and Ethel Lane Tomlinson she had lived most of her life in the Leachville area. She was retired from the former Brown Shoe Company in Leachville where she had worked from its opening in 1957 until its closure in 1983. Loudeen was a member of the Leachville Church of Christ for over 75 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Johnny Cude; her second husband, Dan Nolen; a son, Perry Cude; one brother, Sanford Tomlinson; and two sisters, Evelyn King and Helen Wren.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jackie and Brenda Cude of Hoxie; one sister, Bettye Saliba of Ozark, Mo.; one daughter-in-law, Loretta Cude of Leachville. She also leaves six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville. Burial will follow in Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Friday from noon until service time. Friends may sign the online guest register at www.HowardFuneralService.com.
