Mary Lee Burns, 64, of Luxora, formerly of Wilson, died Dec. 17, 2019, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was a retired factory worker, member of Promiseland COGIC in Osceola and a Minister of the Gospel. Miss Burns was born July 2, 1955 in Osceola to John Wesley and Bertha Davis Burns. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Frances Windmon.

She is survived by three sons, Don Virgies (Angie) and Avry Langston of Luxora and Cameron Williams of Osceola; seven brothers, Clarence Burns and Robert Burns of Cleveland, Ohio, Willie Burns and Tommy Burns of Chicago, Ill., John Burns, Jr. of Blytheville, Terry Burns of Osceola and Danny Williams of Little Rock; five sisters, Alice Celeveland of Cleveland, Ohio, Betty Jones, Ann Moore and Alice Debose of Chicago, Ill., and Vera Washington of Osceola; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at Living Word COGIC in Osceola with burial at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola, Elder Johnny Moore officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
