Amy Nell Carmichael McCain, 62, of Black Oak, widow of Kenneth McCain, passed from this life Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019, in Caraway. Born in Leachville, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Margie Smith Carmichael and had been a lifelong resident of the Buffalo Island area. She had attended school in Caraway and Manila and had worked in several area factories, including EIS Automotive of Manila, Basler Electric in Caraway and Tenneco (Monroe) of Paragould. Amy enjoyed fishing, hunting arrowheads and going to rummage sales and flea markets. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.

Survivors include four sons, Brandon Stone (Melissa) of Russellville, Bennie Stone (Jessica) of Moore, Okla., Christopher Stone (Ellen) of Heber Springs and Derek Stone (Michaela) of Brookland; her daughter, Kemberly Harvey (Craig) of Leachville; one brother, Tommy Carmichael of Burdette. She also leaves 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Howard Funeral and Cremation Service of Leachville.
