Zeola D. Bell

Zeola D. Bell was born May 6, 1922, in Elizabeth, Miss., to the late Bossie Stokes and the late Callie Lloyd Stokes. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Nebo M.B. Church in Blytheville. Mrs. Bell passed away on Dec. 7, 2019, at Heritage Square Nursing Center in Blytheville at the age of 97.

She was preceded in death by her father Bossie Stokes, her mother Callie Lloyd Stokes, her husband Willie Bell, Sr., and five sons, Norman Bell, Jonathan Bell, Justin Bell, Andrew Bell and Avery Bell.

She is survived by two sons Alvin “Nancy” bell of Chicago, Ill., and Willie “Bobbie” Bell, Jr. of Dallas, Texas; seven daughters, Rosie Thompson of Hobbs, N.M., Arlelia Currin of Milwaukee, Wis., Tommie “Curtis” Johnson of Blytheville, Mary Ann “Robert” McNeary of Blytheville, Linda “Michael” McCoy of Frisco, Texas, and Debra Bell and Karen Bogan, both of Blytheville;and a host of grandchildren.

The visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at Loving Jesus Ministries in Blytheville, with the funeral immediately following at 2 p.m., Rev. Curtis Pointer officiating. The burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
