Tommy Carroll Veach Sr., 68, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019. He was born July 27, 1951, in Caraway. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Tommy was a truck driver for over forty years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and barbecuing for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Sherri Veach; children, Sonja Lampson (Tommy) of Harriman, Tenn., Florence Davis (Bobby), Della Smith (Jerry), Carolyn Whaley (Rick), Tommy Veach II (Jennifer), all of Caraway, Kendall Veach (Christina) of Bremerton, Wash., Vivian Southwell (John) of Caraway and Jessie Veach of the home; a brother, James Veach (Kitty) of Rosehaven, Mary.; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Mangrum; his father, Willford Mangrum; a daughter, Rebecca Veach; a brother, Ricky Veach; and a sister, Sharon Kay Wheaton.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019 at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Caraway Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tommy Veach II, David Sheppard, Kendall Veach, Rick Whaley, John Southwell and William Barrett.
