Mary T. Harris

Ms. Mary T. Harris, 83, Blytheville, passed away at Heritage Square Nursing Home on Nov. 14, 2019. She was born in Alabama to Cecil and Tisha Ball on Nov. 30, 1937. She was a member of Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ, Marked Tree. Her hobbies included flower gardening and cooking. She was very independent and it was very important to her that she paid her own bills. She loved the Lord and would talk about the Lord all day long!

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Jackson Harris; a son, Aaron Harris; two brothers, Cecil Ball, Jr. and James Ball; and three sisters, Shirley White, Bobbie Ball and Eve Ball.

She is survived by her son, Andrew Harris, of Blytheville; many grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, with Andrew Harris officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Gilfield cemetery in Birdsong.
