Michael Rouse, 35, Gosnell, passed away after a long illness on November 16th at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. He was born on March 7, 1984 to Steven and Kelly Rouse in Pine Bluff Arkansas. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Gosnell. He was a high school graduate and a welder by trade.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to squirrel hunt with his Dad. He liked baseball, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a huge Arkansas Razorbacks fan! He enjoyed playing cards with his buddy, Jason (and Morgan). He was a lifetime member of the NRA. During his illness he learned how to oil paint and create art with wood burning.

He is survived by his parents, Steven and Kelly Rouse, of Gosnell;

One brother, Erick and Lindsey Rouse, of Gosnell;

Three nieces: Adleigh, Emerson, and Tatum Rouse, all of Gosnell;

An aunt and uncle Ava Jo (and Jay) and their son Jason Moore, of Louisville KY;

And Uncle and Aunt Randy (and Becky) Rouse of Middleburg FL;

His best friend, Jason Clark (and Morgan), of Half Moon;

And many friends who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be Thursday, November 21st, at 10:00 a.m. Bethany Baptist Church in Gosnell with Bro. Gary Hyde officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church. Condolences may be offered at carneyfuneralhome.com.
