Nola Jean Quinn, 73, of Manila, passed from this life Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, at the NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, while surrounded by family and friends, as she entered into the Kingdom of the Heavenly Father. Born April 25, 1946 in Caraway, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Myrtle Wadkins Davidson and had lived most of her life in Manila. She had worked for the former Ely Walker Company and the EIS Brake Factory in Manila before her retirement. A longtime member of the Westside Baptist Church, she will be remembered as a precious wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to everyone she met. Nola enjoyed crossword puzzles, spending time with her family, and baking and cooking with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Charles Quinn of Manila; three sons, Crandle Quinn of Cabot, Mark Quinn (Earlene) of Jacksonville and Eddie Quinn (Rachael) of Cabot; one daughter, Gail Hayes (Keith) of Jacksonville; two brothers, Barry Davidson of Jacksonville and Shelby Davidson of Caseyville, Ill.; two sisters, Judy Wilson of Manila and Linda Chestnut of Chicago, Ill. She also leaves 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Richard Roberts, Rev. Eddie Hawkins and Rev. Dennis Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Monday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home. Friends may sign the online guest register at www.HowardFuneralService.com.
