Reginald Ivey Mosley, Sr.

Reginald Ivey Mosley, Sr. of Joliet, Ill., was born Nov. 29, 1955 in Osceola to the late Clay Mosley and the late Jerotha Lewis Palmore. He was a handy man and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Mosley passed away at AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet on Oct. 8, 2019, at the age of 59.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clay Mosley; his mother, Jerotha Palmore; one son; one daughter; two brothers, Rudy Mosley and Tommy Mosley; and one sister, Ann Marie Simmons.

He is survived by his son Reginald Mosley, Jr.; two daughters, Regina Mosley of East St. Louis, Ill., and Original Beckstrom of Iowa; three brothers, Larry Mosley of Indiana, Rickey Mosley of Galveston, Texas, and Michael Mosley of Joliet, Ill.; three sisters, Soffie Scales of St. Louis, Mo., Mary Whiteside of Elgin, Ill., and Angela Wilson of Jonesboro; and five grandchildren.

The visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, with the funeral immediately following at 2 p.m., Bishop Gregory Brown officiating. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
