Bernice Campbell Smith

Bernice Campbell Smith was born July 2, 1961 to Nathan Campbell Jr. and Joyce Depriest, in Osceola. Bernice departed this life Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019, at her residence in Luxora, at the age of 58. She was preceded in death by her mother Joyce Depriest and a brother Nathan Campbell III.

Bernice leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Sylvester Smith Sr. of Luxora; her father, Nathan Campbell Jr. of Osceola; four daughters, Tabitha Holloway of South Haven, Miss., Angelitha Coleman of Jonesboro, Saundra Coleman and Latoya Coleman, both of Luxora; three sons, Antonio Alexander of Osceola, Michael Coleman of Huntsville, Ala., and Sylvester Smith Jr. of Luxora; three sisters, Mary Joyce Hunt of Luxora, Joyce Hopkins and Ellen Louise Campbell, both of West Memphis; five brothers, Curtis Campbell of Lithonia, Ga., ,James Depriest , Jimmy Depriest, Lloyd Campbell and Ricky Campbell, all of Luxora; 15 grandchildren and a host of other family member and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:55 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Zion Chapel in Luxora. Service will follow at noon. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge in Burdette.
