Joseph Dale “Joey” Shilharvey

Joseph Dale “Joey” Shilharvey, 57, of Manila, former longtime resident of Warrenton, Mo., passed from this life Thursday evening, Oct. 10, 2019, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born in Washington, Mo., he had attended Warrenton High School and was a former longtime employee of Watson Concrete before going to work for Microfinish near St. Louis 23 years ago. He was a member of the Warrenton Elks Lodge 2662 and the Knights of Columbus Hall 2341, both of Warrenton and was of the Catholic faith. After getting married in July, he had only recently made his home in Manila.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Marie Peitzman Shilharvey; one brother, Dan Shilharvey, and one sister, Gail Ann Freeman.

He is survived by his wife, Tonia Wadkins Shilharvey of the home; his father, Robert Shilharvey of Warrenton, Mo.; one brother, Michael Shilharvey and his wife Nancy of Warrenton; one stepson, Brett Iliff; one stepdaughter, Nicole Holtz, and her husband Richard, all of Manila. He also leaves three stepgrandchildren; one nephew, three nieces, three grand-nephews and three grand-nieces and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Service arrangements are under the direction of Howard Funeral and Cremation Service of Manila.
