Jimmie Lee Knighten

Jimmie Lee Knighten, 67, of Osceola, passed away Oct. 2, 2019, at his home. He was a retired welder and of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Knighten was born April 20, 1952 in Turrell, to Rosie Lee Knighten.

He was preceded in death by his mother one daughter, Michelle Knighten; and  two brothers, Donnie and Jerry Knighten. 

He is survived by his wife, Henrietta Knighten of Osceola; three sons, Bobby Richmond, George Richmond and James Richmond, all of Osceola; one brother, Ronnie Knighten of St. Louis, Mo.; three sisters, MaryAnn Maggitt of Umana, Ill., Magnolia Relph of Alabama and Lucille Miranda of California; six grandchildren, Tailynn Richmond, Todd Richmond, Bobby Richmond Jr., Corey Richmond, Ashley Knighten and David Knighten; two great-grandchildren, Todd Richmond Jr. and Princess Richmond.

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Bethlehem M.B. Church in Osceola. Funeral will follow at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bethlehem M.B. Church in Osceola. Burial will be at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette, with Dr. Moses Black officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
