Tony Robert Edwards

Tony Robert Edwards, 64, of Pine Bluff, former Leachville resident, passed from this life Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Little Rock. Born in Perryville, Ark., Tony was a 1973 graduate of Leachville High School and later attended Southern Baptist College in Walnut Ridge. He had worked as the business manager for the Newport Hospital and later as a store manager for Goodyear Tire Company. Tony had lived in Pine Bluff for the last 30 years and was an avid technology and computer enthusiast.

He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Rawls Woodside and husband Tony of Paragould and Jill Rawls Cole of Nashville, Tenn., his mother and stepfather, Barbara Kay and Bill Stewart of Pine Bluff; his father, Donald Robert Edwards of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Craig Edwards and wife, Julie of Germantown, Tenn.; two sisters, Donna Kay Smith and husband, Dan of Hot Springs and Sandra Peterson of Arkadelphia. Tony also leaves six grandchildren, Jordan Rawls, Jathan Rawls, Jenna Rawls, Isiah Woodside, Braden Cole and Briley Cole.

Graveside funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, in the Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Saturday from 12:30 until 1:45 at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville. Friends may sign the online guest register at www.HowardFuneralService.com.
