W.C. Jennings, 81, died Aug. 17, 2019, at Heritage Square Nursing Center in Blytheville. He was born Sept. 29, 1937, in Holland, Mo.

Mr. Jennings could do just about anything but was especially good at woodwork. He also loved to dance and was very good at it. He spent most of his time surrounded by family and friends.

He leaves the following to cherish his memory: his wife, Jean Jennings; four sons, Jimmy (Susan) Jennings of Tupelo, Miss.; Rick (Joey) Jennings of Finley, Tenn.; Tim Stone (Ben) of Osceola; and Charles Guerrant (Kim Barnes) of Osceola; two daughters, Danna (Jason) Darty of Bartlett, Tenn., and Becky (Jackie) Moore of Pocahontas; 14 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claud (Lela) Jennings; a brother, Alvin Junior Cook; a sister, Beatrice Nichols; a son, Roger Dale Jennings; a daughter, Sandra Lee Cook; and greatgrandson, Weston Ray Mansell.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, in the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Steele, Mo., with Brother John Earl Dunavant officiating.

Pallbearers were Josh Jennings, Zack and Tyler Smithey, Donny Bartlebaugh, Walker Mansell and Charles Guerrant.

John W. German Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of services.
