Johnny Lee Hendrix

Johnny Lee Hendrix of Blytheville was born July 26, 1959, to the late Quillie Hendrix and the late Robie Vanzant Moore. He was a retired farmer and was of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Hendrix passed away on Aug. 16, 2019, at Heritage Square Nursing Center in Blytheville at the age of 60.

He was preceded in death by his father, Quillie Hendrix; his mother, Robie Vanzant Moore; his wife, Bonnie Jean Hendrix; one son, Jonah Finley; two brothers, Willie Hendrix and Billy Hendrix; and eight sisters, Florence Williams, Mary Crowley, Dorothy Rogers, Beatrice Anthonie, Martha Bell, Rodal Maxwell, Flora Hendrix and Paula Hendrix.

He is survived by one son, Joshua Finley of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; three sisters, Mary Walker of Forrest City, Gladys Brown of Kennett, Mo., and Ruthie (Elder Willie) Beal of Blytheville; and one grandchild.

The visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C. in Blytheville with Elder Rodney Richardson officiating. Burial will be held at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
