James Glenn “Jamie” Davidson, 55, of Manila, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident in Manila. The son of the late Mabel Rickard Davidson, he was born in Manila and had been a lifelong area resident. Jamie was a 1983 graduate of Manila High School and was employed by Unilever of Jonesboro. He had a passion for motorcycles and was also a Ford Mustang enthusiast. Jamie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Manila.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dave Allen Davidson and Dennis Parker, and one sister, Phyllis Stout.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Hunter Daniels of Trumann; his father, R.A. Davidson of Manila; one brother, John Parker of Waco, Texas; and one sister, Lora Kaye Grossman of Texas.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Brandon Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time.
