Frances Murphy

Frances Murphy, 75, of Leachville, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Frances was born in Portageville, Mo., to William and Ethel Wiginton Yarbro and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Junior White Dean, and second husband, Van Murphy; her parents; two daughters, Janie Faye Dean and Patricia Ann Dean; and two brothers, James and Wesley Yarbro.

Frances leaves two daughters, Mary Hernandez and her husband David of Midland, Texas, and Rosalee Dean Speirs of Leachville; four brothers, Thomas Yarbro of Fayette, Ohio, William Yarbro, Jr. of Jonesboro, George Yarbro of Kennett and Bobby Yarbro of Kennett; one sister, Edna Mae Sue Yarbro of Manila; and four grandchildren, Jacob Speirs, Cody Spencer, Tyler Dean and Adriañna Hernandez.

Graveside services will be held Friday, Aug. 2, at 2:30 p.m. at Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home.
