Jessie O’Tea Hudson II

Mr. Jessie O’Tea Hudson II of Blytheville was born Oct. 31, 1934 in Mississippi, to the late Jessie Hudson, Sr. and the late Nellie B. Mack. He worked as a farmer with Armstrong Farms in Dell and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Hudson passed away on June 22, 2019, at his home in Blytheville at the age of 84.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Hudson, Sr., his mother, Nellie B. Mack Hudson, and his wife, Elnora Hudson.

He is survived by five sons Gary (Anita) Hudson of Memphis, Tenn., Jessie Hudson III, Anthony Hudson and Travis (Shumseya) Hudson all of Blytheville, and Stacy (Andrell) Hudson of Las Vegas, Nev.; six daughters, Lasonya (Tyrone) McGee, Jessica Hudson, Kimberly (David) Frazier, Tracy Hudson Bobo and Teletha (Richard) Razor all of Blytheville, and Pamela (James) Johnson of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister, Robbie Williams of Blytheville; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.

The visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Friday, June 28, at the Holy Temple Church of the Lord Jesus in Blytheville, with the funeral immediately following at 2 p.m. Bishop Vancell Lucas will be officiating. The burial will be held at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
