Dale Blaylock, 72, of Manila, passed from this life Thursday, May 16, 2019, at his home. Born at the Crossroads community, near Dell, he was the son of the late Tom and Eula Banks Blaylock and was a 1965 graduate of Luxora High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a graduate of Arkansas Northeastern College in Blytheville. Dale had been a Manila resident since 1970 and later retired as a certified welder from Southworth Products Corp. He was a longtime member of the New Harmony Baptist Church, where he had served in many capacities, including Sunday school teacher and church treasurer. Dale was devoted to his family and enjoyed attending many of his grandchildren's events during his retirement.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Cliff Blaylock and Bill Blaylock; his father-in-law, Harold Chipman; and a sister-in-law, Patty Booth.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Revis Chipman Blaylock of Manila; one son, Dale T. Blaylock (Lori) of Yorktown, Vir.; one daughter, Stacie Jo Booth (John) of Caraway; one brother, Alton Blaylock (Bernice) of Dell; five grandchildren, Amber Booth, Morgan Booth, Malorie Booth, Brody Blaylock and Maesyn Blaylock. He also leaves his mother-in-law, Helen Chipman of Manila; his sisters- and brothers-in-law, Maureen Blaylock, John and DD Thornton, Joe and Pam Chipman and Dwight Booth; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. John Henson officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Monday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
