Ocle Lee Pierce

Ocle Lee Pierce, 85, of Leachville, passed from this life, Friday, April 26, 2019, at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. A lifelong Leachville resident, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Cordelia Rodgers Nunnery and was the widow of Frank Pierce. Ocle Lee was retired from the former Brown Shoe Company and was a member of the Eastern Star and the Second Baptist Church in Leachville.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

Survivors include one son, Frank Pierce, Jr. of Leachville; two daughters, Diane Bolar (Eddie) and Phyllis Jones, both of Leachville; three sisters, Bea Buck and Louanne Haskins, both of Inverness, Fla., and Naomi Pulley of Dover, Tenn. She also leaves seven grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral service was 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Mark Wheeler officiating. Burial followed in the Cardwell Cemetery.

Pallbearers included Norman Thomas, Casey Davis, Patrick Shepard, Chris Cooper, Jack Milligan and Larry Puckett.

The family received visitors Sunday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
